Account Deletion Request

We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request account deletion, what data is removed, and what we retain for legal and compliance purposes.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your CommissionCrowd account using either of the following methods:

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Open the CommissionCrowd app and log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to Settings from your profile or dashboard.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Confirm your decision when prompted.
  5. Your account will be anonymised immediately and your session ended.

Method 2: Email Request

If you are unable to access the app, you can email us directly:

Subject line: Account Deletion Request

Include: The email address associated with your CommissionCrowd account.

We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

What Data Is Removed

When your account is deleted, we permanently anonymise the following personal information:

Your account status is set to "deleted" and you will be unable to log in.

What Data Is Retained

Certain records are retained in anonymised form for legitimate business, legal, and regulatory purposes:

These records are stripped of personally identifiable information. They cannot be used to re-identify you and are retained only for the minimum period required by law.

Important Information

  • Account deletion is permanent. Once processed, your personal data cannot be recovered.
  • Outstanding payments: If you have pending commissions or active deals, these will be processed according to their existing terms before or after account deletion.
  • Stripe payment data: Payment processing data held by our payment provider (Stripe) is subject to Stripe's own data retention policies. You may contact Stripe separately to manage that data.
  • Re-registration: You may create a new account at any time after deletion, but your previous data and history will not be restored.
